For the sound quality at the price point, you really can't beat these, particularly if you like a little extra bass cleanly delivered. Fold up into a fairly compact size and include a convenient and useful pouch. Yes, you can get the pads on the headband uncomfortable (especially for me, Captain No-hair). The earpiece covers get loose after a while. They are not very effective in the drowning of background, and I suggest they leak like a sieve, not a good choice for subway riders / frequent flyers..
