I needed a light laptop to carry around and settled on the Toshiba because it has an excellent battery life, a pretty good keyboad and relatively large touchpad. I am a mac user, but can't afford a MacBook Air, but for my purposes the Toshiba works nicely, for a pc.I have installed an extra performance of the memory before I bought and used an external DVD drive to a system back up and install software. The color is nice but the appearance isn't as sleek as I'd like because the battery is bulky, but obviously I can't have everything! I do recommend it though, if you need a light laptop, it works..
